Children's Theatre Workshop & Production Centre
The group consists of young enthusiasts, aged 5 to 15, who take a break from their academics to hone their skills. It is a center for theatre training and production that has been operating for 35 years, overcoming various challenges. They perform with equal ease and skill not only in Kolkata but also in the suburbs and villages of Bengal, as well as in other cities across India, Bangladesh, and Nepal.
We invite children from different schools in Kolkata to enjoy plays at renowned auditoriums, free of charge, at regular intervals. For us, children's theatre is not about staging fairy tales; our productions are thought-provoking and topical. The core focus is to highlight the intrusion of adult vices into the world of children.
The troupe has consistently earned accolades in state and national-level competitions. Their performances have been broadcast on platforms such as Kolkata Doordarshan, ETV Bangla, Sonar Bangla, ZEE Bangla, and Aakash 8. The group also organizes an International Children’s Theatre Festival in Kolkata.
We hold theatre workshops every Sunday (except on show dates) throughout the year for our young artists. Renowned figures from Bengal's theatre scene conduct these classes, but we do not charge any fees or donations from the artists under any circumstances. Additionally, we regularly conduct theatre workshops in schools and children's organizations.

That rainy evening, the young thief Kesto met Banna, a teenage coconut seller, and they liked each other. As they were lost in their sweet dreams, two drug-addicted teenagers suddenly appeared, shattering their moment of happiness.
Hathiyar (The Lethal Weapon)
